Some horses, in fact most horses are domesticated. What that means is that people take care of them. Some horses are wild and live in a herd without any protection from anyone. Wild horses need lots of land to survive.

Harriet Tubman was very brave. She was also very determined because a few days after she got whipped she still worked for her masters. She was very calm when her mom put green salve on her back. She even let the trapped muskrats go. Harriet was loyal, too. She was loyal because she helped other slaves become free. She was secretive when she stuck her tongue out at her master’s wife. She ran away in 1849. Harriet Tubman was extremely BRAVE!!!
